Get Started with Supervised Connections

Taking the first step can feel like the hardest part. Whether you were just handed a court order or you are setting up a voluntary arrangement, we want you to know that Supervised Connections is here to make this process as clear and manageable as possible. You do not have to figure this out alone.

Our team works with families across all 22 cities in the Dallas–Fort Worth metro area, and we handle each case with care, professionalism, and respect for everyone involved. This page will walk you through exactly what to do next.

How to Get Started

The process begins with a simple conversation. You do not need to have everything figured out before you contact us. Many families come to us in the middle of a difficult situation, unsure of exactly what they need. That is okay. We will listen, ask the right questions, and help you understand your options.

You can reach us by phone, by email, or by completing the contact form below. Once we hear from you, we will schedule an intake consultation — typically within one to two business days. The intake is a straightforward conversation that helps us understand your situation and explain how we can help.

If you want to understand what the monitoring process looks like from beginning to end, visit our page on how supervised visitation works. You can also browse our frequently asked questions if you have specific questions before reaching out.

What to Have Ready

You do not need to have everything in hand before contacting us, but the more information you can share, the faster we can help. Here is what is useful to have available when you reach out:

What Happens Next

Here is a clear picture of what to expect after you contact us:

  1. We respond quickly. We aim to respond to all inquiries within one business day. If your situation is urgent, let us know and we will prioritize your case.
  2. We schedule an intake consultation. During intake, we gather the information we need, review any court orders, explain our process and guidelines to all parties, and answer your questions. Intake typically takes 30 to 60 minutes and may be done by phone, video call, or in person.
  3. We review your court order. If a court order exists, we review it carefully before sessions begin to make sure we understand every requirement. We take this responsibility seriously.
  4. We schedule the first session. Once intake is complete, we work with all parties to find a time and location that works. In most cases, we can schedule a first session within a few business days of completing intake.
  5. Sessions begin. Your monitor will be present for the full session, observe the visit, and prepare a written report afterward. Reports are kept on file and made available to attorneys and the court as needed.
  6. We stay in communication. We do not disappear between sessions. If something needs to be addressed, we communicate promptly and professionally with all relevant parties.
